Naughty little blogger, seems to have a ring to it...

as this is all I have said lately when I finally get around to blogging. I am going to keep it short and sweet as I have a sprained right thumb/hand and typing with just 4 fingers is just no fun.

wow, what a neglectful blogger

....I mean honestly, I have got to get busy with this blogging, holy smoke how pathetic am I, well, busy busy busy mom, designer, bible studier, gymnastics coach, yadayada, and viola, that is what you get, one crazy lady who doesn't have time to blog...so I thought I better stop in and say hey, I am not dead, I am here, with baseball for my son Dawson and gymnastics for my daughter Ava, I have been runnin like a chicken with half a head, if that is possible....

So, highlights of the summer, vacation on Upper Whitefish Lake in Northern Minnesota, Ava's vast improvement in gymnastics advancing two levels in her club....my sons completely successful baseball season...coming in as the runner up team for the season losing only two games with his stacked little talented baseball team.....the olympics start today, I am home with my kids now, I have so many things to thank the Lord for, He is ever blessing my life day after day, Thank you Jesus, you ROCK!!

So, alot has changed in my design life....I am selling officially at Digital Freebies forever it seems now, The Digi Chick (huge honor) to this seasoned well known store, Aimee Asher (mostly my own hand drawn graphics and clipart sets) and Memory Mixer, a extension of Lasting Impressions, a place to create your digital albums and order them printed to arrive in your mailbox and pretty and finished up nicely (my products releasing next week there, my first two kits)....recently I was asked to design at Get Digi With It for Amanda Dykan and Kristy Krouse, that is way to exciting as they are bringing digital scrapbooking into a place as never seen before with some of the best of the best from the traditional scrapbooking world, ie Karen Foster, Daisy D, Lasting Impressions, oh there are so many you must just go check it out...I think I have enough stores but being my load is light at two of them, I am taking this opportunity on, so look for exclusive designs there, as well as Aimee Asher and Memory Mixer and The Digi Chick, you have to check them all out, as you don't want to miss out on anything and the designs that are released at these stores will be exclusive, which I guess Digital Freebies will be exclusive as well, since the rest of my stores are too...lol...

What is to come, well, I am feature designer for Ready Set Create Magazine at The Digi Chick's October/November issue available in the store, and I will have a really nice freebie in there you don't want to miss out on...and I have the Club Kit spot with Karen Lewis Designs at Digital Freebies in October, where will release to you a Halloween kit that will knock your socks off...so be sure to check these outs...you don't want to miss out on the fun....

Saddened...

by the loss of a young girl from our hometown, Jessica Weishair, was killed in a bus crash returning with her high school band on Saturday morning. Please pray for this tragedy! Here's a link to updates and info about the tragedy. There were others injured critically in the accident, please lift them in prayer as they continue to recover. May God's mighty and powerful hand be on all those involved in this sad and tragic event. Here's that link! Pelican Rapids

How very sad, my poor blog!!! But a Freebie for you!

so seriously, how pathetic am I, Nov. 9th since my last blog??? How bad can I get already! All I can say is being a head gymnastics coach is a busy busy job and just trying to manage home and work three days a week and a team full of teenagers is a blessing and well, it is a blessing, but dang, I am busy! Needless to say, I am now a proud member of the design team at Purple Paper Flowers! Exciting times and I am still designing at Digital Freebies as well! So without further hesitation, I have to get you updated on products out and sales! My good friend, Karen Lewis at The Digi Chick and Digital Freebies, well, we released this months Club Kit at Digital Freebies. Hola everyone.....I have about 2 mins. to post this blog! Uggg...I am sorry (once again) for my pathetic absence in getting to my blog to post freebies and news, no excuse I am just plain old poor at posting. Well, actually, I have been a tad bit busy, lol. I just accepted the position of Head gymnastics coach at Glencoe Silver Lake MN high school for their JV and Varsity girls gymnastics team, so cool, Dawson started hockey, Ava gymnastics and I have been cleaning teeth, and designing!! Very very cool stuff coming out and just released. I have goodies all over the place. But, First Joli at ScrapProfessor has been wonderful and has featured me as a November featured designer at her wonderful site. She created a beautiful newsletter with my interview and my products plus my freebie download. She is a doll, Thank you Joli for this opportunity. You are so great! What a wonderful Friday!

I have been bad and again, haven't blogged, shame on me! We have company last night and today. Our Son Matt and his girlfriend Trish and their sweet son, my grandson, Bodi came to visit. It is horrible to say, but I haven't seen him since December. I was feeling so sad about this for the longest time, but let me tell ya, when that little angel walked through my door and I got down to scoopy him up, he greeted me with a big smile, hug and a big kiss on the lips, that just wiped away all the time that had passed. It was like yesterday I saw him. He is so much fun and will be two in December. I just had it reiterated how amazing my love for him, my grandchild is. Something different than the kids, just an absolute and total joyfulness and agape love. He has a huge room in my heart just for him! I played with him and got loads of kisses throughout the night and I put him to sleep and he was so cuddly and so sweet, and kept touching my eyes, and looking at me. He has some of the most fun little qualities any little toddler could have. I just adore him and love him to pieces and consider myself so blessed to have him, Matt and Trish in my life! Today is Matt's birthday, he is out pheasant hunting with his dad right now and I am sure they are having a wonderful time. They went with a group of men from church, including Pastor Rick. They were meeting this Am for coffee, juice, and donuts and then heading out for their hunt. The pheasant count has been tremendous in Minnesota, so I am looking forward to having pheasant for lunch or dinner tonight! I was really excited to have Matt come and go hunting with his dad on his birthday, with a wonderful group of christian men, and our pastor, as I think this will be a huge blessing for him today...God works in those oh so mysterious ways, and it is my prayer, that this day touches his heart in places that have never been touched before!


Ok, so that is my good family news, Praise the Lord! I have new designs coming out soon.....I am just waiting a tad for news and then will release them as necessary depending on that news. A few weeks back, I released a little kit called Commotion on the Ocean over at Digital Freebies. It is such a cool kit! It is geared toward reaching for goals and aspirations and achieving those goals. It is a great kit that can be used for boys and girls and just about anything.



It is a great little kit....here is a preview of the kit...I am going to be releasing it today at OAKS for 30% off for a week and at Digiscrap Boutique as well, but not on sale until Friday Oct. 19th at Digiscrap Boutique where it will be $3 all day Friday!

Big Opps and apology!!

I created a kit with Sara Ellis called Royal Chaos (see post below this one) that has these adorable little skull art in it and with some issues getting the product in the store, I forgot to give credits in the description of where I bought the wonderful skull art...so, I have to give a huge apology to Nell VanVooren at http://www.diddybag.com/ for the oversight, it is all fixed...and they they have the best art sets over at diddybag...so to Nell, credits where credits are due, sorry for the oversight!!
